Every decade the Mercedes-Benz S-Class arrives and resets expectations for what a luxury sedan can do. The current W223 generation offers a 429-hp inline-six with mild-hybrid assistance, standard 4MATIC AWD, rear-axle steering for city maneuverability, and the optional MBUX Hyperscreen — a 56-inch glass panel spanning the entire dashboard. It's less a car than a mobile office and hospitality suite.
